Originally from rural Maryland, Deanna found her passion for boating later in life, transitioning from a 20' center console to being a full time cruiser and liveaboard on a 41' catamaran. After leaving her corporate job, Deanna and Matt took a sabbatical and sailed the East Coast and the Bahamas. Her firsthand cruising experience helps clients find boats that suit their needs, and her strong client relationships make her a trusted broker.

Todd Ciuba brings together a lifelong passion for boating with decades of experience in business, sales, negotiation, and client service. An avid boater and fisherman with countless hours spent on the Chesapeake Bay, Todd understands that buying or selling a boat is about much more than the transaction, it’s about finding the right fit for how someone wants to enjoy their time on the water. His professional background as a business owner and professional golf agent taught him the importance of listening carefully, communicating honestly, negotiating effectively, and always putting the client’s interests first. Todd approaches yacht brokerage with the same philosophy that has guided him throughout his career and life: treat people the way you would want to be treated. He believes great customer service is built on responsiveness, straightforward advice, hard work, and relationships that continue long after a deal is completed.

Our story
Matt and Deanna sold the house, bought a boat and went cruising, then came back and built a brokerage around what that taught them. It is a better explanation of how we work than anything we could write about ourselves.
