What we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Yacht Brokers of Annapolis, Port Annapolis Marina, 7080 Bembe Beach Rd #211, Annapolis, MD 21403. You can reach us on (410) 206-2755 or at info@yachtbrokersofannapolis.com.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form on this site we collect the name, email address and phone number you enter, any message you write, and the page you were on when you sent it. That is all — we do not ask for, and this website does not collect, payment details or any other sensitive information.
How we use it
We use those details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and to continue the conversation about buying or selling a boat. Your enquiry is emailed directly to our brokers. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where a transaction goes ahead, we may need to share relevant details with the parties involved in that specific deal — the other side’s broker, a surveyor, a lender, or a closing agent — and only as far as the transaction requires.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number, we may text you about your enquiry. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of any purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party ad pixels. Your browser may store ordinary technical data required to serve the pages. If we add website analytics in future, this page will be updated to say so before it goes live.
Our story page includes a video hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; when you do, the video is served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that playback.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the relationship — boat searches often run for months or years. Ask us at any time and we will delete your details.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@yachtbrokersofannapolis.com and we will action it.
Third-party listing sites
Our inventory also appears on YachtWorld, Boat Trader and YATCO. Those are separate companies with their own privacy policies, and anything you submit through them is governed by their terms rather than this page.
